Event DetailsOnam is the biggest and most important festival in the state of Kerala, India. It is a harvest festival celebrated with joy and enthusiasm by people of all communities. The festival commemorates the Vamana avatar of Vishnu and the subsequent homecoming of the legendary King Mahabali.
The celebrations include spectacular cultural performances, elaborate feasts (Onasadya), snake boat races, flower arrangements (Pookalam), and various other traditional activities.
